Support Alfie’s Rescue: Help Us Save More Dogs

We started our volunteer rescue, Alfie’s Rescue, about 2&1/2 years ago. We named it in honor of a dog named Alfie that was lost in the local area for 18 days. Thankfully, he was found safe and sound by a local resident.

We have a small group of people that volunteer and go out to find lost dogs and assist with bringing them home safely. We have successfully trapped or assisted with reuniting several dogs with their families. We are currently trying to expand our abilities with obtaining new and updated equipment, which includes bigger traps, wheel kits for the traps, thermal equipment as well as stocking up on items we use almost daily to assist us with locating and securing the dogs. We have not yet achieved the goal of obtaining our nonprofit status, which we will do as soon as we can raise enough funds to do so. We have pictures saved of the equipment we are trying to obtain, that we will gladly share upon request.
