My name is Khalid and I’m raising funds on behalf of my cousin, Ali Jadallah, and will be managing the funds together with him to ensure they are delivered safely.

My name is Ali Jadallah, a Palestinian photojournalist based in Gaza. For over 15 years, I have dedicated my life to documenting the struggles and resilience of my people, capturing the horrors of war and the strength of humanity amidst unimaginable hardship. I have witnessed every war in Gaza, standing as a witness to the atrocities and crimes committed against us.

But today, I am no longer just a storyteller of others’ pain—I am a victim of the war myself. At the start of this latest war, my home was destroyed in an airstrike, and with it, I lost my entire family. My twin brothers, Khaled and Salah—my guiding lights in life—are gone. My sister, Dr. Doaa, my brother Saleh, and my father are no longer with us.

The only family I have left is my mother, who is critically ill. She suffers from kidney failure and heart disease and is currently undergoing treatment in Turkey. Her health is my sole focus, but I am struggling to provide the care she needs while also trying to piece together what remains of my shattered life.

I am reaching out to you for support. I need help to continue my mother’s treatment, to give her a fighting chance to survive, and to begin the difficult journey of rebuilding what little is left of my life.

For years, I have used my camera to shed light on the suffering of others. Today, I humbly ask for your compassion and generosity to help me and my mother survive this darkest chapter of our lives.
