Help Alicia support her children in her remaining time
Donation protected
This time last year, our young, vibrant + beloved sister, Alicia, received the shocking diagnosis of glioblastoma – a rare, aggressive, and terminal brain cancer for which there is no cure. Along with this devastating news, we were told her tumor is inoperable, resulting in a 4-month prognosis. Despite the odds, she has survived nearly a year post-prognosis thanks to her indomitable spirit + grit.
Recently, however, the cancer is slowing her down significantly. And when she passes, she will be leaving behind young children.
She was forced to stop working much earlier than expected, bringing her two-income household down to one. This has created an enormous financial burden due to unforeseen medical bills, household expenses, and all other costs associated with raising young children. It has also restricted her ability to contribute to her children’s future like she was when she was working.
Because she will likely not live to the end of the year, her family is planning an early Christmas celebration so that they can ensure her children get to spend one last holiday with her.
If you're able, we would deeply appreciate any donation that will be used two-fold: savings for her children + the purchase of early Christmas gifts for them from their mom.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness + consideration.
