Help Ease Alina and Hazel's Fire Recovery

**Update from Alina!**

We are beyond grateful for the outpouring of support from all of our friends, family and community that we have received this week.

Thank you thank you thank you. We can’t say it enough. Unlike so many others, we are fortunate to still have our home standing but we are still unable to get back to it due to evacuation orders.

My stress around losing this time of work on top of having to be displaced with/taking care of hazel and my mom if greatly relieved from all of the generosity that you have all shown.

I hope to be able to return it to each of you one day. We love you.

Alina and Hazel, along with Alina’s mother, Stephanie, remain on a mandatory evacuation from the Palisades fire. Together they have taken shelter up north, but their plans to return home are of course unclear, like so many others in the community.

Alina is one of the most hard working and imaginative people I know, but nothing can prepare someone for what these fires have changed, and for the hardships that they will continue to bring in the coming weeks and months. Alina’s food styling and personal chef work has all been put on hold since her evacuated kitchen is her office, and it’s a new unknown if any future work is guaranteed. And, as many out there know family expenses add up very quickly, leaving Alina with a growing concern for her next few months supporting herself and Hazel.

Your donation and generosity of spirit will go a long way in easing some tough times ahead, and will help keep Alina, Hazel, and Stephanie in safe harbor for the time being.
