Support Allison's Breast Cancer Battle

Hi everyone, my name is Indie and I'm organizing this fundraiser for my beautiful aunt Allison. If you know Allison, or even if you don't and you're reading this, allow me to introduce her to you.

Allison is the most wonderful, kind, caring, and loving individual. You might think I'm biased because I'm her niece, but I have seen first hand the joy and support she brings people in her apparatus. Recently, my wise friend told me "If you want a village, you have to be a villager" and Allison has always been a villager. Caring and supporting any and all she comes across. I am very blessed to be surrounded by many wonderful people, teaching me love and care of others. She is the epitome of this practice.

Which is why, now, she needs her village to show up for her. Allison was diagnosed with breast cancer early this year. The type of breast cancer is Mucinous Carcinoma. I have been with her to two of her consultation appointments. The prognosis looks good based on her tests, and the markers of her tumor. She had her lumpectomy today (3/3/2025) and she will start radiation three weeks after her surgery. Radiation treatment duration will be 4 weeks, Monday - Friday, every day for the full duration of the four weeks. As I am also a cancer survivor of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (while they are two very different cancers) I am very familiar with what her journey will be like.

Now for the part of the village. Allison will need time off work, has a 15 year old daughter to take care of during all of this, and will need very expensive medications. Allison has always been an incredibly hard worker, and fiercely independent, but she needs our help! We all know that life is already incredibly expensive and stressful as it is WITHOUT a huge life threatening illness to deal with, so it is with my deepest love and thanks that I appreciate you helping out my beautiful aunt Allison!
