As salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah. We, at Al-Qasim Institute, are a team of committed parents working to make a positive impact in our community by establishing a nurturing learning environment for our children through our Maktab. Our goal is to help them understand Islam and equip them with tools to apply Islamic solutions to their daily challenges. This will empower them to have a strong Muslim identity and positively influence those around them. We emphasize teaching the fundamentals of Islam and its practices based on the Quran and Hadith, all within a loving and supportive setting. Our Mission overall is in nurturing minds, building community, empowering strong Muslim identity, and emphasizing the foundations of Islamic teachings in a supported environment.

Alhamdulilah, by the grace of Allah (SWT), we have already started our Weekly Maktab and Sunday classes. We are currently serving over 30+ students. Maktab students are taught Qaidah, Rules of Tajwid, Surahs, Memorization of Duas, and Islamic Studies. Nadhirah Students are practicing and developing proficiency in Qur'anic Recitation. Hifdh Support is also provided. We have started our Women's Monthly Support Group Events as well. We wanted to provide a place where sisters can share tips or skills that can be of benefit to the Muslim women in our community. In sha Allah, in the future our plans are to start Classes for Adults and launch Al-Qasim Online.

Our biggest expense at the moment is rent. We have rented an office space that is central to the Stone Mountain/Lilburn/Snellville areas. We wanted to provide a space for Islamic education that is easily accessible to these communities. More information can be found on our website: https://alqasiminstitute.com.
