Help Lara and Steve recover from Altadena Fire

Lara Ratzlaff and Steve Hailey-Dunsheath along with their three children are Altadena residents and active community members. Their home was destroyed in the Eaton fire.

My name is Stef and I am friends of Lara and Steve. I met Lara through Cottage Co-op Nursery School. Her youngest son Peter and my son Oliver were in the same class for two years and ran around laughing and barefooted and searching for bugs together.

Lara is the person who is the first to lend a hand of support to anyone. She is normally the one who sets up meal trains and gofundmes for new mamas and friends who need assistance. She was the volunteer Secretary board member of Cottage for many years giving her time, energy and resources to support the Cottage Co-op school as well as the greater community. Steve works at Caltech and their three children went to local Altadena public schools. Everything they owned and loved has been destroyed.

Now is our opportunity to give back to this wonderful family. Please help them get through this devastation and begin to recover their lives. While the memories lost within the walls of their home can never be replaced, we hope this monetary support can help with the heartbreaking process of starting over.
