Support Alvaro's Final Journey to Nicaragua

Hello, my name is Indiana Chavez and I am raising funds for my dear cousin, Alvaro Burgos-Guitierrez, who passed away during Hurricane Helena that hit Chesne, South Carolina. I am raising money to cover the funds for his cremation and for his wife to come to the States to pick up his ashes and be able to return them to his home of Managua, Nicaragua.
Alvaro had come to the States in July of 2023 to work and provide for his family back home, landing a job at a nearby restaurant.
Alvaro lived in a 3 bedroom camper with two other roommates, who all worked together in the same restaurant. On September 27th, Alvaro returned home from his shift in the early morning hours to drop off his other two roommates at their jobs, as Alvaro was their primary source of transportation and would drive them where they needed to be. Once he had returned home yet again, he went to sleep in his room in his camper amidst the storm.
A few hours later, a tree had fallen on the camper in the only occupied room, tragically cutting Alvaro's life short. He was only 41 and leaves behind a loving wife, Ilian, and a 7-year-old daughter, Maria. He also leaves behind his 88-year-old mother, Amanda, to bury her only child alongside her husband who had passed many years prior.
We would like to be able to cover as much of the cost as possible to return Alvaro to his home country, be buried alongside his father in Managua, Nicaragua, and be surrounded by his family and the people who loved him. He was a hard-working and loving man, who deserves peace and rest.
