Funeral Expenses for Alycia Marie
Donation protected
*9/12/2024 update - All of the paperwork has been signed and funeral home has been chosen. Yesterday, we were informed that Alycia Marie cannot be laid to rest and our family cannot have the view until the funeral has been paid in full. I cant believe we have to plan her funeral at all but here we are. Please help us get the funds together as quickly as possible so we can all rest and work our ways through this grieving process. There is no amount to small. And a simple share to your social media is so greatly appreciated. The more eyes that see this the faster we will be able to lay my niece to rest.
*I come here with the heaviest heart to tell you my beautiful niece, Alycia Marie, ultimately succumbed to her battle with addiction. Alycia was a 21-year-old incredible woman & mom. She leaves behind a broken family trying to figure this grief game out. Most importantly, she leaves behind an almost 3-year-old son.
Alycia has been battling addiction since she was in her early teens, utilizing addiction to numb the pains the world had handed her so generously. Alycia lost her mom, my sister-in-law, less than 4 months ago. Alycia lived life with an absolute heart of gold. She would give you the clothes off her back and the food out of her mouth to ensure you were good.
From a little girl, she always wanted to be a mommy, caring for her younger siblings, cousins, and all the baby dolls the world could give her. It truly heartbreaking that Atom wont be able to experience that. She once told her grandma she couldn't put the dog in the cage, insisting that if grandma wanted someone in the cage, she would put herself in it because the dog didn't belong in there.
I still remember her with her nippy (pacifier) in one side of her mouth screaming "Titi!" out the other side of her mouth. Alycia was loved by so many people; unfortunately, that wasn't enough to keep her from her disease of addiction.
Alycia leaves behind an almost 3-year-old son for the family to continue to wrap in love. This is created to help as we lay her to rest, and the remaining will be put into a trust for her young son, Atom.
Anything you can help with is greatly appreciated. Please share this with everyone as we really need the help during this very trying time.
