SUPPORT ALZHEIMER & PARKINSON CURE!

Donation protected
Our Father, Dr. JJ Diaz Gil, unfortunatley passed away last November, after battling with cancer for almost two years. He lived his life researching for a cure of several diseases that affect millions of people around the world everyday.

In  1986 he and his team created a sustance that stimulated celullar and tissue regeneration. After years of experiments and research they achieved amazing results in laboratory confirming the potential of this substance as a therapy for Parkinson and Alzheimer, among other neurodegenerative diseases. He was able to get his discovery patented, however never had the chance (or funds) to create it in vitro so that it could be tested in humans and eventually use it to save lives.

Now that he is not with us anymore, we want to keep fighting for his dream and continue with the amazing job he and his team started, so that people suffering from these diseases can finally have a cure like he intended.

We would really appreciate any help you can give us to support the development of this cure.

We deeply THANK YOU in advance from the bottom of our hearts!! We believe in this and we are certain it will revolutionalize medicine while improving the lifes of millions of patients and their families

Liver Growth Factor “LGF” as therapeutic agent for neurodegenerative diseases

Liver growth factor (LGF) was purified by our group in 1986 and in the following years we proved that this factor stimulates liver cells division and liver regeneration. We also demonstrated its chemical composition (it is an albumin-bilirubin protein complex), and its activity as a cellular and tissue regenerating factor in several extrahepatic models (lung fibrosis and emphysema, testis, spinal cord, hepatic carcinoma and experimental models of hypertension and atherosclerosis).

The use of LGF as a nervous tissue regenerator has been recently protected, Patents number: US 8,642,551 B2, Date of patent, Feb. 4th, 2014, and Continuation-in-part US 9,144,597 B2, Date of patent, September 29, 2015, and CEO number 2289538, Date of patent, August 19, 2015.

Our previous studies consider LGF as a potential therapy for Parkinson´s disease (PD). Thus, in experimental parkinsonian rats, LGF administration stimulated the production and migration of newly generated neurons [J Histochem Cytochem 57: 491-502, 2009], and promoted the survival of grafted stem cells in the damaged areas of the brain [Curr Stem Cell Res Ther 7: 15-25, 2012]. LGF also improved rotational behavior and motor coordination in this experimental model of PD. [J Histochem Cytochem 54: 457-465, 2006, J Histochem Cytochem 57: 491-502, 2009, PLoS ONE 8(7): e67771. doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0067771.

Our studies have also been extended to other experimental models of neurodegenerative diseases such as cerebellar ataxias [Int. J. Mol. Sci. 2014, 15(10), 19056-19073, Recent Patents on Central Nervous System Drug Discovery, 2014, 9: 173-180], Friedreich´s ataxia [Int. J. Mol. Sci. 2016, 17, 2066; doi:10.3390/ijms17122066], and Alzheimer´s disease (AD) where LGF administration partially reduced brain damage in an AD mice model. Besides, administration of LGF restored cognitive damage indicating that it is a potential therapeutic agent for AD.

In summary, our studies highlight the beneficial effects of LGF and its abilities as a neuroprotective and neurorestorative agent in several models of neurodegenerative diseases.

CURRENT & FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

All these experiments were performed using LGF purified from rats. We demonstrated that LGF purified from human subjects has the same chemical composition and equal biological activity [Mol. Biol. & Medicine, 1989, 6:197‑207]. In order to use LGF therapeutically in human subjects, we need to obtain funds for the in vitro synthesis of this neurorestorative factor. We have designed a strategy for LGF synthesis and we plan to perform the corresponding preclinical assays before initiating human clinical studies. The procedure of LGF synthesis and its therapeutic uses in several areas are equally subject to patent application.
