Support Alzheimer's Research in Judy's Name

Tax deductible
Judy Woodmancy passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 in Pasadena, CA, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Her husband Bill and sister Sherry were at her side.
Judy was born in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in Arlington, VA, and Oxnard, CA. Judy was joined by her sisters Sherry, Sandy, and Michele (Miki), and by her brother Bill.
Judy became an elementary school teacher in L.A. school district, teaching 3rd grade and special needs children for 30 years. She excelled in teaching both science and literature. She loved teaching and was wonderful with all children. She became lifelong friends with many teachers in every school that she taught.
On June 9, 1990, Judy married Bill. Bill was the love of her life, as she was the love of his. They lived and worked in Southern California with their cats, Peter and Tiffy, then Christopher, and lastly Romeo and Emily. When not home with their cats, they spent time hiking in the local mountains and Sierras, often with friends and family. They had many great vacations with friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, we are fundraising to honor Judy's memory and support Alzheimer's research.
This fundraiser is for Judy Woodmancy, a beloved wife, sister, and teacher.
