Support Amanda, Christian, and Baby Shiloh
Donation protected
Hello Friends and Community Members,
We are reaching out to you on behalf of Ms. Amanda Bertrand, a beloved English teacher who has been with AIS for three years, teaching both kindergarten and first grade. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Amanda found a new home here in Atlanta, where she met her partner, Christian Lewis. Recently, Amanda and Christian shared the joyous news that they were expecting their first child, with a due date of January 19.
However, their journey took an unexpected turn when Amanda was hospitalized for three weeks due to complications, during which doctors monitored her closely to keep her and the baby safe. Christian was by her side daily, providing steadfast support, until tragedy struck: Christian suffered an unexpected brain bleed and is now hospitalized in an unconscious state.
In the midst of these challenges, Baby Shiloh was born prematurely and is currently in the NICU, where he will likely remain until January as he grows stronger each day.
Amanda, Christian, and Shiloh are now facing tremendous emotional and financial challenges. With the collective strength of our community, we hope to offer them some relief and support. Your contribution will go directly toward medical bills and other expenses, helping to ease the burden during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful impact and is deeply appreciated.
Please join us in supporting Amanda, Christian, and Shiloh. Together, we can make a difference for a family who has given so much to others.
Thank you for your generosity and for standing with Amanda and her family during this challenging time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
