Greetings earthlings! It is I, world renowned cosmetic guru, drag diva, and extra terrestrial C-E-Hoe of S-E-X, Amanda Tori Meating. As many of you know, after filming my unforgettable (albeit criminally short-lived) run on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16, I came out publicly as trans feminine and began HRT. After over a year on estrogen I’m noticing changes that have made me fall in love with my body in ways I never dreamed I could, finally looking in the mirror and beginning to see the divine feminine that I’ve always felt inside myself reflected in my physical form.
This trans joy is often only fleeting, followed by looking at my face and still seeing features that feel hypermasculine (at least to me). This dysphoria was unfortunately compounded by the experience of going on tv and having my face be the subject of commentary and critique from the masses. All of this to say, the time has finally come for me to receive life changing Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and I need your help!
I recently had my surgery consult and am waiting on a surgery date, which I’m hoping will be in the next few months. Thankfully most of my medical costs will be covered by insurance, but I'll still need money to support me while I take time off work for the procedure. Primarily to cover lost wages and pay for my rent, prescriptions, groceries, and time off for loved ones who will be caring for me for up to 6 weeks.
Since I know times are tough for literally everyone right now, I want give you a little something in return for your support. For any donation over $150 I’m offering a 4-5 min personalized Cameo style video where you’ll be privy to an Amanda Tori yap sesh, or whatever you’d like me to talk about :) Once I receive a surgery date, I’ll set a deadline for polaroids to be mailed out and Cameo-style videos to be completed!
