Support Amanda's Journey to a Livable Tiny Home
Donation protected
Dear Family & Friends,
We are calling you to join us in supporting and helping Amanda get her Tiny House finished.
First, let us introduce you to Amanda.
Amanda grew up in a small town, Olive Hill, Kentucky. Childhood was simple but not without trials, trauma, and tribulations. Amanda fell in love and married her high school sweetheart. They became an Army family and moved to Ft. Bragg. After years of fertility issues and her husband’s niece needing a home, they took in a 7-year-old child as their own. Years later, with deployment distance at hand, she found herself facing divorce. She and the child moved home to Kentucky to start over. In that season of brokenness, she found the grit and determination to better herself and enrolled in our small-town university. Four years later, and with a lot of hard work, she had her bachelor's in sociology. This accomplishment was especially significant. In her heart, she always wanted to help other people, and now she could. Today, Amanda works for Goodwill as a job coach, training and helping other people develop on-the-job skills. After years of living with her mom and saving money, she has purchased a Tiny Home, and it’s on family land next door to her mother.
We are asking for your donations to help make it livable. Its current state is a framed shed. She will need walls, flooring, plumbing, wiring, and all soft needs such as appliances and house goods.
We appreciate your heart and willingness to give even though you may not know Amanda personally. Thank you!
xoxo
