Support Amara’s New Zealand Semester Abroad

My name is Amara and I am a 3rd year Business Management student at Northeastern University currently leaning towards an Operations path. I have been given the chance to study abroad in New Zealand from February to June where I will embark on a unique journey of academic and personal growth. I chose New Zealand because I wanted the chance to explore an entirely new side of the world that many don’t have the chance to experience due to its distance from the US.

I pride myself on my motivation, work ethic, and loyalty. In the time leading up to my trip I have been and will be working full time at home in New Hampshire alongside my current classes in Boston to aid in raising these funds. While my parents are doing what they can to support, we have agreed that the majority of my daily expenses will be my responsibility.

During my time there, I will be unable to work due to limitations with New Zealand’s student visa. I had originally been hoping to cover these funds with two scholarships through my university, but I just received notice that I will not be receiving either of them. This has created the opportunity to look into alternative options.

So, I am launching this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of my travel, accommodation, and everyday living expenses. Your contribution will make a significant difference in allowing me to take on this opportunity and make the most of it.
