Support Amber through her recovery

Amber was sick last week with what she thought was a bad cold, she went away for a weekend getaway with some friends and got significantly worse. She was admitted into a local hospital. In the ICU she was diagnosed with influenza B and pneumonia. From there she deteriorated quite quickly into Acute Respiratory Distress (ARDS)

They airlifted her to a more equip facility on Saturday where she has been put in a medically induced coma and on an EMCO Life Support machine so all her organs can heal.

Amber is a single, self employed mother who works very hard to ensure her kids are involved in every sport or activity they would like to participate in. They are her world. She always makes sure they have everything they need. Amber is also the life of the party and keeps everyone dancing or posing for pictures. There is never a dull moment when your with her. Her smile is kind and her laugh is infectious! Her social media posts with the signature "whoo whoo" make you realize how much she cherishes every moment, every person, and every place she goes!

Amber is still in critical condition on life support, at this time we don't know how long this process will be. We also don't know if or when she will be able to return to a normal life. Since she is self employed she will not qualify for EI nor does she have any sick benefits, this means she will have no income coming in to assist with her paying her mortgage, regular bills, or expenses while in the hospital or during her recovery at home.

After this incident, Amber could face medical challenges. There are so many unanswered questions and all we can do is pray and wait...

We're raising money so she doesn't need to worry about any of her expenses and can focus on her health and recovery. Any funds that are not used will be held in trust for her children.
