Help the Walker Family with Airway Surgeries and Travel Expenses
Dear Friends and Family,
In May of 2024, Amber was diagnosed with a rare disease called Idiopathic Subglottic Stenosis. This disease causes scar tissue to grow on the windpipe, just below the vocal chords, blocking off Amber's airway. Since August of 2024 she has endured six surgeries and one icu stay to keep her airway open. Going forward, she is planning to receive treatment with specialists at the Cleveland Clinic to help her better manage her condition. Amber is grateful for access to health insurance and an hsa, but expenses incurred from mounting hospital bills, travel expenses to healthcare providers, and time away from work are making this situation extremely stressful for her family. Any help, whether it is monetary or simply prayers and words of encouragement would be appreciated!
