Support Amelia Walter and her children

Hi All- my name is Kelly Maggio and along with Karen Fronk, we are raising funds for the Walter Family.

Amelia Walter and her family moved away from Wilmette a year ago when her husband was offered a job in Michigan. To Amelia, being together as a family was the most important thing. She loved living in Wilmette and had her kids at Romona and the Wilmette Park District pre-school. She is such a loving and wonderful mom and I'm hoping that we can all come together to help her.

In January of this year our friend had to endure an unimaginable tragedy. Her beloved husband, Wayne, passed away unexpectedly, leaving her and their 5 beautiful children (Kirana, Wayne, Arianna, Isabella and Matthew) grappling with profound loss and uncertainty. As she navigates this difficult time, Amelia finds herself confronted with the daunting challenge of providing for her children's future alone. Missing the Wilmette school systems, she is currently homeschooling her children, all without a community nearby to rally around her and help her.

The funds that are donated will be sent directly to Amelia. Your generosity will help ensure that Amelia and her children have the resources they need to navigate this journey with strength, dignity, and hope. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of this grieving family.
