Support Amy Owens Memorial & Celebration of Life

As most of you are aware, our mother Amy Owen recently passed away on Monday, November 20th due to her long fight with cancer. Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. With her family supporting her side, she moved down to Florida to have a chance to fight and live her dream by the Ocean and to be with her kids. After treatments, she became a warrior and overcame cancer in 2014. 

She took the opportunity to live other dreams she tried to fulfill. Going to North Carolina, and then ended up dropping everything to be back home to be next to her Dad. Unfortunately, as time passed by, she was re-diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Breast cancer shortly after her Dad, (our grandpa) passed in 2021. After grandpa passed, we moved her back down to Florida to fully care for her. Upon doctors and treatments, sadly there wasn't many treatment options, other than being able to make her comfortable to control the pain.

With long talks and heartaches, mom made a decision to bring in hospice care in 2022. Mom put up a long fight trying to get better and continued to stay strong, not for her, but for her kids.

Mom battled for a long time, and she did her hardest to make it through the holidays for us, but the Lord called her home.

She has now re-united back with her loved ones, and her first-born Cody, whom was taken too soon.

Mom expressed her final wishes and we want to be able to do everything we can to support them. One of those wishes were to come back home to be with her son, where he is buried in Illinois. 

In order to do that, we are asking for financial assistance for anyone willing to help all of us kids bring her home, celebrate her life, and make her final wishes come true.
