Support an Aspiring Black Doula & Single Mother

Donation protected
Tania is a single mother of two children in San Diego.  After being furloughed from her job because of the pandemic,  she decided to use this time to start pursing her dreams of becoming a doula, a foster mother and a writer. She signed up for a doula training and then one week before the training began, her landlord gave her notice  for no apparent reason.  She is facing the unexpected cost of moving and a rental landscape that deeply entrenched in systematic racism.  Her two children are ages 12 and 5 and if she cannot find a suitable new home she is facing homelessness and/or having to give up custody of her kids to their father. Please support this amazing human achieve her dreams and have the freedom to access the housing and resources she deserves. Supporting Black birth workers is a great way to help close the health disparities of the Black Maternal & Infant Mortality Crisis.   The funds raised will go towards the cost of her education as a doula, moving costs, rent, and living expenses.  Find out more about Tania and her doula work here .
