Update: **UPDATE: Rejoice Christian Books and Gift Shop - On the Move with Our Community Bookmobile! **
We’re excited to share the latest in our journey! While we had to officially close our Lawrenceville, GA brick-and-mortar location on 7/31, we are far from done. In fact, we are still Rejoicing, knowing that our mission endures beyond these four walls.
As the scripture says, the race is not given to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but to the one who endures to the end. And endure we shall! We are committed to continuing our mission with our Community Bookmobile, a mobile haven that will bring joy, books, and companionship to senior facilities, local events, festivals, and more. We’re determined to go to our community and customers, keeping the spirit of Rejoice alive and thriving.
But we can’t do it alone. We’re launching our $1 campaign to help raise $40k for a Transit Van. With your support, we’ll be able to continue making a difference—fostering connections between generations, providing workforce development training for youth, and sharing inspiration across Gwinnett County and beyond. Every dollar counts, and with your help, we can make this dream a reality.
Who knows, we may even be able to find another brick-and-mortar safe haven in the future!
Get to know us better and join our campaign today. Together, we can bring inspiration and faith to every corner of our community! ❤️ #BooksOnWheels #SupportLocal #BridgeTheGap
Thank you for being part of our journey. Let’s make this next chapter even more impactful! Check out our Google reviews of the past 3 years as we move onto the new phase.
**UPDATED Fundraiser Statement for Rejoice Christian Books and Gift Shop: On the Move with Our Community Bookmobile!**
We are thrilled to share our vision for the future of Rejoice Christian Books and Gift Shop as we transition from a brick-and-mortar store to a mobile book haven!
Over the years, we have proudly served our community, winning the "Best in Gwinnett" award for bookstores alongside Barnes & Noble for two consecutive years. We have also been honored with the Next Door Neighborhood FAVE Award in 2023 and were finalists for multiple Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Awards. Our commitment to excellence and community impact is unwavering.
As partners with Lawrenceville Project Impact, we hire, train, and pay local high school students, equipping them with workforce skills, social engagement, and community involvement. To continue this mission, we are launching a community bookmobile. This mobile service will allow us to bring the joy of reading and valuable resources directly to senior facilities, local events, festivals, and more.
With your generous donation, you can help us achieve this exciting new goal. Your support will enable us to continue providing workforce development training to youth and serve our senior community in a dynamic and impactful way. We are not gone; we are on the move!
Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us bring inspiration and faith to every corner of our community. Let's make this dream a reality together!
