Support Ana Lydia's Fight for Recovery

Life is precious. On 12/24, we received a call that turned a regular day of planning festivities into a nightmare in a few seconds.

Ana Lydia, mother of my husband and 5 incredible sons, with 19 grandchildren, the matriarch of our family, was down. A woman who fought extreme poverty and came to this country to work hard and give her sons a better life suffered a massive cardiac arrest and almost lost her life. For 10 minutes, they attempted CPR and got her back. She was placed on ECMO, with little hope for recovery. With God in charge, strong and persistent advocacy paid off and a team assembled to take on her case. Open heart surgery to replace the aorta and mitral valve took place on 12/31.

Ana is strong and is currently fighting for her life in the Critical Care Unit with her 5 sons at her bedside. They each live in different states but found a way to get to her and have not left her side.

The road ahead is long, but we are committed to her recovery however long it might take.

We are asking for help to support her sons in relocating Ana to Connecticut and to help with medical bills and the travel to and from for her sons to help and continue to support her in her recovery. This tragedy occurred while she was visiting us from Georgia. We know God brought her here for this miracle team to assemble.

She will need so much support to regain her strength, but God favored her and we are grateful to all who have prayed for her and the fam. Time to witness a miracle. Thank you in advance for your generosity and all the love.
