Fourteen Failures - Donation Based Viewing

In 2018, Rebecca Aneloski founded And Artists as a sanctuary movement space, gathering freelance dance artists in Salt Lake City to research movement and build collaboratively in a creative process. In 2021, And Artists spent three months researching individual, interpersonal, and collective experiences into an allegorical dance work- Five women inviting episodic memory through movement vignettes. The work sponsored by RDT‘s Link series was titled "14 Failures" and premiered in November 2021, at the Rose Wagner in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The next summer 4 of the original artists, Rachel Andes, Haleigh Larmer, Kellie St. Pierre, and Melissa Younker were brought back to adapt the stage work for the screen. The process of creating a screen adaptation was fast-moving, with only a few rehearsals, and filmed in under 12 hours.

Artists Andes, Aneloski, Larmer, St. Pierre, and Younker donated their time to create this film. We ask, if able, for donation-based viewing. All proceeds will be split equally between the 5 artists.
