Support and Love for Denise and the Miller Family

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Denise (Jamieson) Miller on November 25th, 2024, at the age of 33. After her battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. The Miller, Jamieson and Feniak families are devastated by the loss of their beloved Denise.

We are reaching out to our community for support with helping her husband, Jesse and their daughters, Chloe and Aubrie. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow them to focus on grieving and remembering Denise.

We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers and messages of support during this difficult time. Your kindness means the world to the family as they navigate through their grief.

At this time, the family is taking life day by day and will announce plans for a memorial at a later date.

We kindly ask that the family’s wishes for privacy is respected, thank you for your patience and understanding.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Liz, Jenna and Chantelle

A Message from the Miller Family
Sunday November 3

We are beyond speechless in the love and kindness from you all and sorry for the delay in thanking you all. We just needed time to process this news that hit us hard.

We can’t thank you all enough for the sharing and donating and of course the positive vibes and love being sent our way

Denise’s overall health is not what we were hoping for but we will enjoy our time together as family that is left and we are able to do that because of you all.

Love the Miller Family

We are so incredibly grateful for everyone’s generosity last year to assist Denise and Jesse to help cover their bills and maintain a normal lifestyle for their kids while Denise took time off work.

Denise completed her entire treatment plan and she was under the impression that she was cancer free this past January. She returned to work and everyone was excited for life to go back to normal. In mid-February, she noticed a hardening of the tissue near her surgical site where her original cancer was found. Even though their was a hardened area of tissue, there was no tumor and nothing to target for a biopsy. It took several times for her to fight for a biopsy to be done because the hardened tissue was quickly growing in size which scared her. Finally, she got the biopsy she wanted and it confirmed that it was positive for triple negative breast cancer. Her team quickly jumped back into gear and got her back on chemotherapy. In July, she developed a blister, which soon opened and created an open wound. Her breast cancer has now matastsized to the skin. Despite multiple treatments, it is growing and changing rapidly causing it to be incredibly difficult to keep her pain under control.

Currently, Denise is on her 3rd type of chemotherapy and is running out of treatment options. Denise was also told by her oncologist that the expectation is that she will not be able to survive this. She is unable to continue working and she will need to go on leave again.

The Miller’s have done their best to maintain a normal life for their kids, but unfortunately, they will lose their mom much sooner than anyone had imagined. The Miller’s have asked for assistance one more time so that Denise can continue to focus on fighting this battle to give her as much extra time as she can with her family.
