Support and Love for the loss of baby Kenner

On January 14th, Bryce and Skylar Carpenter welcomed their first child into the world. Beautiful baby boy, Kenner, was born at 2:27pm after a long and difficult birth. Kenner was born not breathing, and doctors worked on him until they were able to get a pulse. Shortly after birth Kenner was diagnosed with HIE, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, a birth injury newborns can suffer as a result of oxygen deprivation and limited blood flow. Kenner was brought to the NICU to receive therapeutic hypothermia, the treatment that can minimize permanent brain damage from HIE. After his treatment, Kenner underwent a series of scans and tests to measure his brain activity. Sadly on January 19th Bryce and Skylar received news that no parent should have to receive. Kenner showed zero brain activity. On January 20th, 2021, heaven gained an angel. This fundraiser is created in hopes of easing the unexpected stress of funeral expenses.
