This phrase defines the Sissy we all know and love. Her courage carried her through several bouts of various cancers that ravaged her body since the age of 17. And no one fought harder than she did to beat it every time. It was a daunting daily challenge that would have taken many much sooner. Yet, her love for life was evident as she greeted any and all with a welcome smile, regardless of the battle she was enduring at the time. Most amazing was that time spent with Sissy was absent of complaint.

Amongst her years of physical struggle, her love of family and friends was first and foremost. She was a fierce supporter of everything her kids were part of. Her incredible spirit and positive attitude left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. A wife, a mother, a sister, a friend whose love knew no bounds.

As you might imagine, the financial impact of being ill the majority of her life has taken a harsh toll on the family. The need is significant.
