Support and Prayers for Noah Stephen
On behalf of Jon, Paige, & big brother Luke Homan, our family is asking for prayers and support for Noah Stephen Homan.
At four months old, a team at the Detroit Medical Center - Children's Hospital diagnosed Noah with Osteopetrosis. Osteopetrosis is a rare genetic bone disorder which causes the bones to be more dense and hard. This means the bones have less room to develop the appropriate amount of bone marrow to support proper blood creation and function.
In 6-8 weeks, Noah will undergo a bone marrow transplant after a week of chemo treatment. Once the treatment begins, Paige will have to take an unpaid leave of absence from work. Noah will remain in the hospital for a minimum of 100 days post transplant before going home is even a possibility.
We are asking for your prayers and financial support for the Homans so they can focus 100% on Noah's care and the well being of their family. Your generosity will help relieve some of the burden of hospital bills and financial pressures.
A sincere thank you from our family to yours.
Love,
The Homans, Seiberts, & Corcorans
