Support and prayers for Slick and our mom Juanita Malone!

Early Sunday morning, we were informed that my little brother, Slick aka James Malone, was involved in a very horrible car accident. We weren't really aware of the extent of his injuries at first but knew it had to be bad since they were looking for next of kin. After making it to UT Tyler hospital, we were informed that he had hit a tree. They had to remove part of his skull due to the swelling and his brain bleeding. His main aorta wall was peeled away from the heart. He also has lacerations on his liver, some broken bones, and things of that nature. But his brain and his heart are the ones they were concerned with. He had to have surgery on his heart to have a patch put in place to repair the wall, but the medicine to do so could make his brain bleed worse, and the medicine for his brain bleed would make the heart bleed worse. Soooo... they went ahead with his heart surgery, and in that area, his heart is looking good. Now it's kind of a waiting game on everything else... seeing how he's gonna respond or not respond to his heart being operated on and how his brain is going to react. He still has a lot of tests and scans that have to be run, so he is nowhere out of the woods yet.

Our mom, Juanita Malone, is there with Slick, and myself and other family members have been taking shifts with her. Nobody is ever really prepared for this to happen because you never expect this to happen, but yet here we are. So we could really use a little help and a hell of a lot of prayers right now. Now, if you know our mom, you know she would be there for anybody, helping them out in any way she could. With her being with Slick for however long this hospital stay and healing may take, she won't be able to work, and we could really use help with money for her to eat on and gas for us and other family members to make it to her. Even after Slick makes it home, he won't be able to work for however long due to his brain and his broken leg. We really just need y'all's help and everyone's prayers, please.
