Support and Relief for Taal Volcano Victims
Tax deductible
On January 12, 2020, Taal Volcano, in Batangas, Philippines erupted after 43 years, affecting the health, homes, and livelihood of hundreds of thousands of Filipinos in the area.
Clouds of ash were blown more than 62 miles (100km) north of the Taal volcano. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or major damage from the eruption.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology raised the danger level around Taal to level 4, indicating an imminent hazardous eruption.
Level 5, the highest, means a hazardous eruption could affect an even larger area. More than 40,000 evacuees in Batangas and Cavite provinces have sought shelter in nearly 200 evacuation centers.
Nearly half a million people live within the 9-mile danger zone around the volcano.
Join us as we raise funds to help our kababayan back home — any donation will help make an impact.
Note:
Since this is developing, we are looking into entities to partner with in the Philippines. One of our key leaders, Ms Jelly Carandang, whose family is near the affected areas, is looking into the needs of the communities there, whether for food, toiletries, medicines, etc. We are sending 100% of the funds raised in this campaign and will regularly post updates on this page. Thank you for your support.

Since this is a developing situation, we are looking at various partner options in the Philippines. A key leader of NaFFAA is also going in person to affected areas to oversee distribution of relief.
100% of proceeds will be directed to affected communities with regular updates on the GoFundMe page.
