Support and Thank Sgt Carla Havard

Sgt Havard is the only Policewoman that I have ever known on a personal level. We became friends when we had an audit on the security of our home. She was the highest-ranking Black woman in the Denver Police Department. Carla has retired so she can go public with this story. Her mistake? Raising the issue of sexual and racial harrassment experienced within the Denver Police Department. As the President of the Black Officer's Association and a leader, Carla did what she has always done. She spoke up to her detriment, and retaliation for her whistleblower actions. Please let's support a woman who has supported us the Denver residents for the last twenty-five years. In addition, let's expect better of our city and the DPD.
