Support Andrea's Family in Their Time of Need

Hi, my name is Jenni Osthoff (Hill). I am reaching out in hopes of being able to help save my dear friend Andrea Cieminski and her family's home. Andrea has never asked for any kind of financial help, but right now she and her family could really use it. I am going to tell you her story so you can understand why this is so important for Andrea and her family.

Andrea has lived in her home for 14 years. Her landlord recently told her that she and her family have until September 31, 2024, to find a new place to live because he wants to sell the property. Andrea's two daughters, Ari and Olivia, both live there, as well as her nephew Levi, who Andrea now cares for. This is the only home that the three of them have known. There are many reasons why Andrea's family needs help to fund the purchase of their home.

Andrea's daughter Ari was born prematurely at only 26 weeks and weighed only 1 lb 5 oz. Since birth, Ari has had many struggles and health issues. She has had 11 heart surgeries and procedures, with her 12th one scheduled for the end of September. Ari was born with a very narrow aorta and had complications related to her prematurity. Because of her narrowed aorta, she also developed high blood pressure, had injury to her kidneys, and some challenges with development. Her heart issues and medications that she is taking have limited her ability to attend school in person. Home is their safe place, given how complicated her medical journey has been. Ari is one of the bravest souls I know.

The home that they are in is filled with memories of Andrea's mom, who was such a great support for Ari. Andrea's mom was at every surgery with Ari and always there for Andrea during her daughters' surgeries, up until the time of her passing from cancer on March 20, 2022. Eight days after Andrea's mom passed away, Ari had to have another heart surgery, which was very hard on the entire family. When Ari was discharged from the hospital, she was so happy to go home to at least the memory of her grandma in their home.

To add to their family's difficult times, Andrea's brother TJ Salis, age 43, was brutally murdered. TJ was a huge part of their family; he was there to help Andrea and her children through hard times. He would do absolutely anything he could to make things a little easier for Ari. TJ had lived with them for quite some time. Their family has been devastated by the loss of Andrea's mom and brother TJ; they truly were Andrea and her family's greatest supporters.

Andrea personally suffers from agoraphobia, chronic PTSD, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder, as well as a chronic immune condition, idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura, that results in her blood not being able to clot. Andrea has experienced many struggles and trauma in her life, as well as these chronic illnesses, so please let's help her not lose her home as well. It is very difficult for her to leave her home. She is receiving mental health care and medical care. Yet, the upcoming loss of her home is creating much additional stress on her and her children. They can't even bear the thought of losing their home on top of everything else that they have lost.

Through this, Andrea has never once asked for help, but she has exhausted all the possible avenues of help, and that is why I am reaching out to help my friend who deserves it. Andrea was approved for a $73,000 loan towards the purchase of the home, and now she needs to come up with $50,000 more or as close as she can get to that amount. Please help her family continue to have a safe, familiar place to live and stay healthy. Any amount, small or big, will help her family a great deal.
