Support Andrew Bridges' Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Lynsey Bridges, and I am creating this go fund me for my brother Andrew Bridges. Our parents are Anthony and Michelle Bridges, and Andrew is the middle child between me and our younger sister, Rebekah. Andrew was involved in a tragic airplane accident this past week and is currently in the hospital with many severe injuries. The accident occurred outside of my family’s home state of Georgia and Andrew’s current home state of Tennessee, which has required my family to travel an extended distance to be with him. Given the significance of his injuries, he is going to require months of constant care, and eventually intense physical rehab to assist him in his recovery. Many of our family members and friends have been asking where they can donate to Andrew’s recovery fund, so I have decided to make an account on this platform to benefit him. My family by no means expects our loved ones and friends to donate towards Andrew’s recovery, but this account is available if you feel led to do so. All donations to this account will fund Andrew’s recovery in any way that he needs, such as being put towards his medical expenses or any medical equipment he will need. Regardless of if you donate, I would kindly ask that you be in prayer for our family, and specially Andrew, during this challenging time.
If you do not personally know my brother, I would love to brag on him for a moment. Ever since he was little, it was always my brother’s dream to be a pilot. He has always been interested in aviation and wanted to learn as much about planes as he could. He could bore you by spending hours talking about the most intricate details of planes that seem so boring to anyone but a pilot, but to him even the smallest details were awe inspiring. Andrew is a veteran of the US Air Force, where he served for many years including one deployment overseas. He has always loved adventure and is so incredibly brave, no matter the circumstance. Whether it be kayaking, hiking, running, golfing, or playing disc golf, you could always find him outside doing anything except sitting down. Even with his love for adventure, Andrew found the time to go back to college after leaving the Air Force. He is currently in his final semester of college to finish his bachelor’s degree in aerospace with a concentration in professional aviation. He is also one of the founders of a competitive disc golf team at his school. My family is so proud of him for working so very hard towards completing his degree and hope he will be able to finish it one day. Some of my brother’s favorite things include going to country music concerts, eating fried bologna sandwiches from a local spot in his college town, and spending time outdoors.
Lastly, I would like to say thank you for being interested in his recovery during this time. Andrew means the world to my family and to many of his friends, and we want nothing more than to see him heal and return to the fun, independent guy we know and love. I will try to post periodic updates on this platform as I can, while still honoring my family’s privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for being there for Andrew and my family during this time, it truly means the world.
