Support Angel & Lilly in Memory of Levi

On July 23rd, 2024, our beloved Levi Purvis, a brave and joyful 2-year-old, passed away with his family by his side. Born on December 2nd, 2021, Levi faced a series of health challenges from a young age, including a liver transplant at just 6 months old. Despite numerous complications and lengthy hospital stays, Levi was a bright light and full of life.

Levi’s mother, Angel, and his older sister, Lilly, showed incredible strength and devotion throughout his life. They relocated to New Orleans to be close to Levi's medical care, with Angel managing daily life without a vehicle. She walked miles each day to get to the hospital, clinic, pharmacy, Lilly’s daycare, and the grocery store, all while providing unwavering support for her children.

Levi was known for his strong personality and joyful nature. He was often seen with his paci, waving balloons around, and kicking his pulse ox sensor off to get attention. His favorite pastimes included watching Cocomelon and cheering on everything his sister Lilly did. Even during his most challenging moments, Levi’s happiness and determination shone brightly.

Levi's journey touched countless lives—from the staff at Ochsner and the New Orleans community and beyond. His story of courage and love inspired many, and his memory will always be cherished.

As Angel and Lilly navigate this incredibly difficult time, we want to offer them our support. The funds raised will help cover:
