Support Angela Harrington's Battle with Cancer

Dear Friends and Community,

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Angela Harrington to ask the kindness of strangers to help with transportation to and from UCSF from Santa Rosa, medications, food and toiletries as she continues to battle a rare Thyroid cancer. I am doing this for Angela since she wouldn't dare do this for herself despite her unfortunate and dire situation. Angela is a fighter but she is struggling!

Angela is 47 years old and a truly remarkable woman who has been a dedicated mother and friend. She is kind and loves animals so much that even during her darkest days rescued a feral cat which in turns keeps her company.

Unfortunately, her specific cancer is incurable and her timeframe to enjoy life is unknown. Recently her cancer has spread to her spine, bones, all over her torso, pelvis and femur leaving her debilitated and unable to walk comfortably. She's in constant pain and agony and now relies on a walker and cane just to move to/from her bed to the bathroom.

Angela's days consist of lab appointments, ultrasounds, infusion, MRI's and scans. She relies on friends to take her to appointments which is the only time she leaves her house. Due to all of her medical bills and loss of income this has led to stress and ability to meet basic needs.

Your support means everything! Every donation, no matter how small, contributes towards her goal of getting to appointments, groceries, paying rent, utilities and most importantly afford to pay for costly prescpriptions. We just want Angela to be able to spend time and enjoy her days with friends and loved ones and not have to worry as much about how she's going to get through all of this.
