Support Angelina after wrongful arrest
Donation protected
In October 2021, Oakland Police arrested Angelina Cordero on false allegations. The bail amount was too high, and her family could not bail her out. She spent over a week in Santa Rita County Jail, where she experienced severe medical neglect, which nearly became fatal. The Alameda County District Attorney's Office eventually opted not to file any charges, and Angelina was later released.
Since her release, Angelina has been struggling financially due to this recent arrest appearing on her background record and has lost her job as an independent contractor and has been struggling to gain employment for over the past five months. During this ordeal, she also got into a serious car accident and later had to total her vehicle which was her primary source of income as a Rideshare driver.
Due to this unfortunate situation and for her safety, she had to relocate out of the Bay Area and needs support to pay for basic needs such as food, shelter, and transportation as she works to gain employment. No amount is too small, and any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
