Support Angelina and Amber's Medical Fight

I am starting this GoFundMe to help my sister Angelina and my newborn niece who has been in NICU since her birth on May 24, 2024. We are originally from Chicago but have been living in Mexico for the past 7 years. However, anyone familiar with the health system out here knows that there is no insurance in Mexico and as cruel as it may sound, if you have no more money to cover the medication or medical expenses, they will basically let you die out here. The medical bills I believe have reached over $195,000 pesos and it goes up daily.

My sister wasn't due until the end of June or early July, yet the doctor gave her a C-section on May 24th because we believe he broke her bag of water while performing a normal vaginal check on her. My niece Amber was born not crying and completely purple. She was put on oxygen support then needed a ventilator. But we thank God she is no longer on the ventilator. She was then diagnosed with sepsis. She is a little fighter and with God on our side, I know she will be home soon.
