Support Anita Gonzales's Family After Sudden Loss

We are creating this GoFundMe for the family of Anita Lugo Gonzales, who passed away suddenly on Christmas Eve. Money will go towards funeral and medical expenses. She is survived by her sons Jaime Lugo, Javier Sanchez, and Carlos Sanchez, and her grandchildren Jaidyn, Ivy, Junior, and James. We hope that the money raised can help ease the financial burden on the family during this difficult time.

The family is understandably shocked by this loss and not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern, and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral or the loss of a family member's income to pay for household expenses.

We'd like to show our support to Anita's family during this difficult time by helping them cover unexpected costs due to this sudden tragedy. Anything you can do to help the family during this time of heartbreak is greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone,

This is a formal announcement regarding the mass for our mother and grandmother, which will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. After the mass, life will be celebrated at the San Damiano building next to the church.

It’s hard to believe she is gone, but I’ve found a small peace with her absence after today. I will never forget how she treated my brothers, me, and everyone around her. I will especially cherish the memories of the times she spent in my classroom, bringing joy to our kids.
