About the Writer & Director!

Hi! My name is Aniya Arnold and I'm a senior Cinema & TV Arts major at Elon University. My first love is screenwriting, but over my 3 (and a half) years here I've fallen in love with many aspects of film, like cinematography, editing, and acting. This story is near and dear to my heart because it's based on the first script I ever wrote at 16 years old. Revisiting this idea after all these years and reimagining it to fit my skillset now has been such a special experience, and I can't wait to share it with y'all!

About "SHARE"

What would you do if someone tried to take away the only home you've ever known? Our film follows three sisters Harper, Anna, and Callie, living in their recently deceased parent's house, who face a dilemma when a mysterious man shows up at their doorstep threatening to take their home and their lives when he claims to have purchased their childhood home.

Why Donate?

I hope that this present-day retelling of Black land ownership in the American South can make audiences consider how the past and present connect, and have them on the edge of their seats! This purpose couldn't be accomplished without my phenomenal crew, and I want to be able to support the needs of my crew and cast throughout this process.

These funds will go directly towards securing our primary location (a home accessed via Airbnb), purchasing our props essential to the story, and providing food and refreshments for our cast and crew for each day of filming.
