Support Annapolis Rowing Club's Growth

The Annapolis Rowing Club (ARC) is a nonprofit, community-based membership organization dedicated to promoting and advancing the sport of rowing through the widest possible range of opportunities for training and participation. Our club members range from age 18 to age 80 and older, and we offer a unique opportunity for Adaptive Rowing to people in the community with special cognitive and physical needs to ensure the sport is open to everyone who wants to learn.

Our Club was founded in 1983, originally in downtown Annapolis, but now we row on the South River in nearby Edgewater. We are about to move our operations to a nearby marina and we need support from the community to defray the cost of our move. We will be rebuilding new boat racks and platforms to access to our floating dock and adding indoor space so we can now offer year-round programs to the community. We are excited to finally have indoor space so we are not impacted by the weather, and can protect our equipment.

ARC is a 501c3 organization, managed and operated by volunteers. It is managed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership at an annual meeting. The club relies on volunteers for its operation and all ARC members serve on at least one of the committees to support the club's various activities. Members all donate time, resources and money to keep the Club thriving and we would love your support!
