Support Anna's Fight for Health and Well-Being

This is a fundraiser for Anna Kellerman. If there was ever a time to relieve Anna of financial stress, it is now. As some of you already know, that seizure that struck Anna on February 25th resulted in the removal of a brain tumor on March 1st. Soon after she received the startling diagnosis of glioblastoma—an aggressive brain cancer that is difficult to treat. Anna is younger than the typical glioblastoma patient; she has also always taken great care of her health which gives her advantages compared to the typical 1-2 year prognosis for this disease.

Anna’s radiation and chemotherapy treatments will begin on April 10th. She has chosen to work primarily with the neuro-oncology team at The Dana Farber Cancer Institute and will soon begin a clinical trial for a new type of chemotherapy designed to attack unmethylated glioblastomas. This may improve her prognosis even more.

Her treatment consists of six weeks of daily radiation therapy (a standard glioblastoma treatment), followed by chemo infusions for an indefinite amount of time, all accompanied by regular MRIs and management of side effects.

We want to give Anna the best shot at fighting this disease for as long as possible. To that end, we know that alleviating the financial burden she faces is an important part of her fight against cancer. Anna's expenses will include transportation, rent, anticipated and unanticipated medical bills; alternative medical treatments, in addition to day-to-day living essentials.

The treatment process for this disease requires significant physical, emotional, and financial resources. Please consider giving generously so that we can lessen the financial challenges, making it possible for Anna to focus on taking care of her health and well-being.
