Support Anthony and Family After Devastating Fire

Hello
My name is Anthony Ruffin. My wife and I just lost our home to the Eaton fire in Altadena, California. We are fortunate to have made it to safety with our dog and one of our cats. Sadly, we lost one cat and two of our chickens in the fire, in addition to our home. We have lost all of our material possessions, including many family heirlooms.
My home was purchased by my father in 1972 on that side of Altadena because African Americans were only allowed to live on that side. With a low-paying job and hard work, my father was able to secure that home. In 2000, my father sold me that home, which I purchased. It's a two-bedroom, one-bathroom house. I was able to save up enough money over the last 20 years working in social services in Los Angeles County to have some renovations done.
I'm a social worker that works on Skid Row with the homeless population in LA County. We are seeking your help. I don't want to lose the home that my parents worked so hard for.
Thank you!
