Support Anthony Crespo's Colostomy Recovery
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Anthony Crespo. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when I was 10 years old and suffered a colon rupture when I was 13 years old. I had a temporary ostomy performed and had it reversed 6 months later. Over the past two decades, my Crohn’s symptoms diminished, but I developed rectal stricture that continued to persist.
I had another colostomy performed on July 10, but have been out of work since June 18th, due to sever obstructions leading up the surgery. Unfortunately, the scar tissue was so bad, there were complications with my surgery. My old large incision was used for this colostomy and will require me to miss 6 or more weeks of work.
My amazing Mother!
My smiling step-dad who raised me since birth!
My supportive, understanding and amazing girlfriend!
This is the final surgery on my journey to getting my life back and need financial help to get back on my feet. Whatever you can contribute will go a long way and be greatly appreciated. Donations will help with rent, utilities, food, transportation (as I am unable to drive in this condition) and more. Thank you! And keep praying for my recovery!

UPDATE: 3 weeks into my recovery and everything has been going extremely well! Staples were removed last week and I can stand more straight. My pain is diminishing and all my incisions are healing nicely. I am really close to my pre surgery weight. I am hoping to return to work 08/05 and I am super excited. I greatly appreciate everyone’s donations. We still need financial help making it till 08/21. We are close to meeting our goal. Thank you family, friends and amazing humans!

UPDATE: Coming up to 5 weeks since my recovering. I am maintaining weight and healing nicely. I return to work this weekend. However, I will be working reduced hours till I am fully recovered. We still need help till the end of the month. I appreciate everyone's contribution. God bless you all!
