Support Anthony Tijerina's Family After Tragic Loss

On October 30, 2024, our family’s world was shattered by the sudden and devastating loss of Anthony Tijerina. At the young age of 33, he was a beloved and devoted young father, son, uncle, and brother. Anthony was treasured by many and his absence will always be heavily felt.

Anthony was a true beacon of light for our family, as he always put his family before himself. He leaves behind two young sons, Lucas(age 12) and Isaac (age 6), who he truly cherished. Anthony was always a devoted father who wanted to support his boys in whatever way he could. He took great joy in being able to share his interests with his boys. Being an amazing fisherman and lover of football and camping, he loved sharing that with them. He also deeply loved and cared for his stepdaughter Arianna Sandoval.

Being his niece and only 10 years younger, I was very blessed to have been able to feel and bear witness to the love that he had in many ways. He loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He was always quick with a joke, but never failed to show the love the felt. One of my fondest memories is him teaching my cousin Dominick and I how to swim. My aunt Marisa and him spent plenty of time with my sister Dominika and I growing up and those will forever be cherished memories. I remember talking about my cool, funny uncle that would always have my back. I shared his love of camping and it will never be the same without him. He will always be missed.

This is a devastating loss not only for our family but also for the many lives that Anthony has touched in his short time here on Earth. Anthony’s smile plastered on his face was a signature part of him and something people will always remember.

Due to the sudden loss, our family would greatly appreciate any donations in the name of Anthony. This will be going towards funeral expenses, as well as to his young sons.
