Support of Norma Duque & family
Donation protected
Hello, I’m April Duque. I’m starting this GoFundMe because my family and I have been impacted in a way we could have never imagined: The sudden and unexpected loss of our beloved Mother.
Norma Duque was a devoted Wife of 36 years, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt; her titles are endless! This woman was extraordinary with so much love it transcended through so many people. She was a devout Catholic with an unwavering faith in God. The love she received as a child gave her the purpose when she had my sisters and me. My mom has lived many lives, it seems. She was a stay-at-home wife/mom, from carpooling us to cheer practice and helping in the cheer gym, to being the bow lady for the team, to the cheer mom to teammates whose parents worked to have them in the program. My mother had no bounds and loved unconditionally no matter who you were.
From a very young age, my mom taught us the importance of kindness. She always gave us anything we needed and then some, but not before letting us know how lucky we were.
After raising her youngest, she headed back to school and got her degree in social work, but then was compelled to go back to get her master's because she prided herself on her mission to help others. A trait adopted and learned from her mother. She worked in a dialysis center as a caseworker. The loss of my mom will live on not only in our hearts and memories, but her helping spirit will live on. My mom is an organ donor, and she will be helping her patients within her own center where she worked and helped save many other lives. You will be missed and remembered always.
