Support April's Battle Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Last Thursday, April’s world was turned upside down when she went to urgent care, thinking she had a UTI. Along with those symptoms, she had been experiencing unexplained bruising all over her body. Initial bloodwork revealed very abnormal results, and she was sent to the University of Utah ER for further testing.
After extensive tests, doctors confirmed that April has Acute Leukemia, a fast-progressing cancer that begins in the bone marrow and quickly spreads into the blood. She was immediately transferred to the leukemia unit at LDS Hospital, where she began chemotherapy within hours of her admission. Since then April has undergone multiple days of heavy chemotherapy and has a 24/7 Chemo IV drip.
April’s diagnosis was a devastating shock to her, her loving Husband; Justin and their children, but they remain hopeful and trust in their Heavenly Father’s plan. She is the loving mother of nine children: Madi (27), Isaiah (26), Brooklyn (24), Caroline (21), Eliza (19), Zeke (17), Luke (14), Sicily (12), and London (8). April has always been a source of strength and love for her children, and now her family is determined to support her as she faces this difficult battle.
April and the Stringfellow family are deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers, love, ward and community fasts, and encouragement already received. Please continue to pray for April!
April has an exceptional team of doctors and nurses working tirelessly on her treatment, but the road ahead will be challenging. Her family, friends, and community are rallying together to show their love and support. Please consider donating to help reduce the financial burden during this challenging time.
All donations will be given to April to assist with medical expenses of the upcoming months.
