I'm reaching out to ask you for your help during the most difficult time of our lives. My baby sister, April Rose, is only 34 years old and is bravely battling stage 4 gastric cancer. At an age when she should be pursuing her passions and living life to the fullest, she is instead facing the fight of her life.

April Rose's journey began in April 2024, when she underwent emergency surgery to remove part of her stomach. A few days later, we learned of her devastating diagnosis. Since then, she has been on a grueling regimen of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and a second surgery, to slow the cancer's progression. Despite her strength and resilience, the emotional and financial toll of this battle has been difficult.

Why We Need Your Help

April Rose has not been able to work since her diagnosis and has exhausted all of her savings. The financial strain is immense, with the basic costs of rent, food, utilities, and medical bills accumulating. Every day is a fight not only for her health, but to manage expenses while undergoing intense treatment. April Rose has been incredibly hesitant to ask for help, but she has now reached the point of dire necessity.

A Personal Note from April Rose's Sister

April Rose is a beautiful, vibrant and creative soul. She has an amazing singing voice and can play multiple instruments, filling any room with music and joy. As a toddler, she would dress up in my New Kids on the Block pajamas and her dad's big shoes and come into my room dancing to my cheesy 80's-90's music. Her love of art, history and vintage treasures reflects her unique eye for beauty in the world. The picture of her is at her favorite place, the Desert Botanical Gardens. It is where she feels peace.

Watching April Rose face this unimaginable battle has been both heartbreaking and humbling. Her courage and resilience inspires us everyday, and her gratitude for others' kindness is immeasurable. April is far too young and too talented to be burdened with such hardship. With your help, she can continue to fight with strength and dignity.
