Support AR Catalyst's Fight Against Homelessness
Tax deductible
The AR Franchising 2024 Catalyst team is supporting the National Alliance to End Homelessness. The National Alliance to End Homelessness is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to end homelessness in the United States. The Alliance uses research and data to find solutions to end homelessness.
Homelessness is something we see every day in every city. There has been on the rise with a 6% increase since 2017. Many factors cause people to be in this situation. Some of these are out of their control. In the states where AR Homes operates, there are an estimated 100,447 homeless people.
As an employee living in a large city, I have seen the increase personally as it has spread from a downtown area to the suburbs and into the "country" areas outside our city. As a parent, I am also aware that there are many children affected by homelessness in my children's school district. We all can be part of the solution in some way large or small.
