Support Ari to re-build the Bodega Country Store

On Saturday, August 28th, a reckless driver drove a Jeep straight through the front doors of The Bodega Country Store - our beloved community grocery in the small town of Bodega, California.
The damage is tremendous and the store will be closed indefinitely.
You might know our store as a place to pick up snacks on the way to the beach or you may be a community member who stops in on the daily to pick up groceries for your family. We need your support now more than ever.
My name is Bradley Mills. I am organizing this campaign for Ariel Coddington, the owner of The Bodega Country Store. Ariel put her whole self into realizing her dream of The Bodega Country Store. In the first year she spent 364 days in the store, from open to close. Anyone who visits the store feels her energy in the space and can see the beauty she created. Ariel was in the store throughout her pregnancy with our son and up until the moment we left for the birth center. Ariel is dedicated, hard-working and committed to rebuilding her business as quickly as possible. Just like it took our community's support to build this community resource, we need your help to rebuild.
Ari is currently pregnant with our second child. The store was our families only source of income since the birth of our son and the COVID-19 Pandemic. I was laid off and I have been unemployed and at home caring for our son, supporting Ari in her business and pregnancy journey, and parenting my daughters from another relationship. Ariel will need monetary support for legal fees, lost revenue, clean-up and remediation, living expenses, and childcare assistance so she can focus on managing this crisis and have respite to maintain her health and spirit during her pregnancy. Ariel will also need monetary support for the construction and post-construction period which will take several months, possibly six months or more. Ariel intends to make the store even better and hopes to use some of the funds for additional needed equipment, interior fixtures, add needed product categories, and to cover anything her insurance claim does not or that gets delayed in the complicated claim process.
She also needs our friends and neighbors showing up and offering support. She needs some in-home childcare every week so she and I can manage the details. She needs hugs and shared meals. She needs to grieve, she needs to heal, and it is hard. She needs to have a healthy pregnancy with space for rest and relaxation. She cannot recover from this alone, and she is not one to ask for much help.
Please consider supporting Ariel on the next part of her story, and please share this campaign widely - https://gofund.me/dec2e15a
The vision for the Bodega Country Store has always been about strengthening our community and being here for our neighbors. All that has happened and will continue on, despite the circumstance she is in. Ariel wants nothing more than to be back at the Bodega Country Store seeing friends, visitors, and neighbors.
Thank you from the center of my crushed heart. We have so many blessings and we count all of you at the top.
