Support Aril While She Beats Cancer

This fundraiser is for my dear friend Aril Joi, AKA “A Real Joy”. She is the absolute epitome of her name; a ray of sunshine in the lives of any and everyone blessed enough to know her. She is a loyal friend and daughter, an amazing artist, and a truly beautiful human being, inside and out. She has an inspiring love for life despite the many challenges she has faced; and she is currently facing the biggest challenge she ever has and probably ever will face.The day before thanksgiving, Aril was diagnosed with invasive HER2+ ductal carcinoma, a fast growing form of breast cancer. At only 25 years old, she is what doctors are calling “an exceedingly rare medical phenomenon”, and “a statistic of 1”, as they have never seen such an invasive, aggressive form of cancer in someone so young. Arils treatment plan will involve at least a year of intense chemotherapy, and eventually surgery. Her medical bills will be extensive, and as it stands right now, she will be losing her medical insurance in March. All we want for Aril is to see her beat this cancer and for her to be able to focus on getting better, rather than on the financial stress that comes with that. Anything helps and is appreciated greatly by Aril and all the people that love her. Please help us help her get well.
