Art Boutiki Closing Fund - Money to help pay old bills

The Art Boutiki will sadly be closing at the end of 2025. After years of robbing Peter to pay Paul the economic landscape and just general level of business for us has made it necessary to shut the doors after 16 years.

I know it seems odd for a business to ask for donations to close its doors, but we are trying to get out while leaving the fewest number of people hanging. This money will be going to pay unpaid rent (our landlord has been very kind to us over the years and extended us credit when we needed it), keep up with utility bills, pay the ones that are piling up, and make sure we can make payroll to the end of the year.

On top of everything else, we will need to paint and restore the venue to its original state, making it usable by someone else, except for the sound enhancements and other additions we have made. This is going to be a draconian task that might take upwards of a month.

Like I said, this is odd help to request as nothing comes from this that is tangible, you are simply helping us end our 16-year run as a music venue that went out of its way to support up-and-coming talent and local artists.
